Experienced Roofing Operative and Roofing Repairs Teams

Main Purpose of the Role

Working alongside or independently to support and assist fellow Roofing Operatives in completing a range of new build, replacement, repair & maintenance roofing trades/ manual tasks in customer’s homes, communal facilities and commercial premises in support of Aspect Roofing’s aim to deliver leading customer excellence and quality.

Scope & Responsibilities of the Role

  • Operate a company vehicle responsibly and courteously. Ensure that the vehicle is cleaned, safely and correctly driven and all equipment, tools and materials are safely stored. Representing the company professionally and safely
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks, including correct vehicle tire pressures and fluids such as oil; add fluids and air as necessary; along with general safety, roadworthiness and cleanliness always to ensure environmental and safety standards are
  • Climb ladders, work at heights and on occasion in confined spaces (lofts), lift and move heavy objects, tools and materials safely (with training) and undertake other tasks as necessary for the completion of the work with a high regard to health and safety to themselves and
  • Receive and complete all works to a high standard of quality and excellence and ensuring value for money is achieved
  • Be a front-line representative of Aspect Group Services, working within the community in private residential, tenants’ homes and other client properties. This requires the role holder to possess a high degree of professionalism and integrity and can communicate with a high degree of accuracy (both written and verbally) to tenants, management and work
  • Comply with all health and safety rules and regulations ensuring that protective clothing and equipment are appropriately and properly used. Ensure that all tools (both hand held and powered) are operated correctly, cleaned and stored; and to report all breakages, breakdowns, accidents and other issues promptly to Supervisor/Manager
  • To maintain and present accurate allocation of time on works orders and use of codes to record the costs of works.
  • Carry out progress monitoring on site to determine material supply needs
  • Minimise waste produced and dispose of in accordance with our policies
  • Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably allocated by line manager
