Aspect Roof Services are looking for a Driver

Main Purpose of the Role

To carry out deliveries and collection of materials to and from depots, sites and suppliers.

Scope & Responsibilities of the Role

 To operate a company vehicle responsibly and courteously, representing the company professionally and safely at all times.

 Transport supplies and materials to multiple destinations throughout the geographical operational region.

 Carry out daily vehicle checks, including correct vehicle tire pressure and fluids such as oil; add fluids and air as necessary; along with general safety, roadworthiness and cleanliness at all times.

 Report potential mechanical problems to Line Manager.

 Safely load and unload supplies from vehicles.

 Collect requisitioned items from storeroom inventories and/or Merchants/ Suppliers to fill orders.

 Compare information on requisition or invoices to shipments received or issued to verify accuracy of order; completes requisitions, inventory or invoices and other documentations related to the delivery or shipment.

 Set up site compounds in line with our requirements, ensuring Health and Safety and Environmental aspects are considered at all times

 Transport waste in line with our environmental procedures, including asbestos waste handling

 Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably requested

Education/Qualifications

Essential

Full driving license

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

Non licensed Asbestos Awareness Trained

Manual Handling

Experience

Logistics/ Trade backgrounds

Previous experience within a customer service focussed role

Skills and Attributes

First rate communication skills

Must be a team layer

Excellent flexibility and adaptability

Can do attitude with excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Key Attributes

 Should have knowledge of the operation and minimum maintenance of light delivery vehicles

 Load vehicle, transport goods safely and drive with absolute courtesy and the highest driving standards.

 Perform manual labour.

 Follow verbal and written instructions.

 Compare product names and numbers.

 Use and complete forms and logs.

 Write accurately and legibly

Competitive Package:

• Basic Salary up to £25,000 per annum
• 30 days annual leave, including bank/public holidays
