Christmas Party
UpdateOn the 16th December Aspect held their annual Christmas Party! The whole team got together to celebrate the festive season and give some exceptional people well deserved awards for their efforts throughout 2023. Thanks to the The Oaklands Hotel for hosting and making sure we all had an amazing time.
Christmas Jumper Day
UpdateAspect took part in Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children International. A fantastic effort from all involved and a great amount of money raised for a worthy cause.

New kitchen and toilets for commercial space
UpdateOur Property Services team are currently out in Besthorpe fitting out a commercial space with a new kitchen and toilets, including new accessible facilities. The work includes all utility connections and drainage and is looking to take about 6 weeks. We can’t wait to see the finished result.

UpdateLast week our Aspecte Team and Procurement Manager went to the Solar and Battery Live Expo at The NEC, Birmingham. This was a great opportunity to meet New and Existing suppliers and also find out what’s new in the Renewables market. UpdateWe are so proud of Will Hawes one of our fantastic team members, he will be completing a 52 mile walk on Christmas Day. Will is sacrificing his Christmas Day to complete this journey which is equivalent to 2 marathons in aid of Norfolk and Waveney Mind . He would be so grateful of your support.

Repair Work for the East Harling Sports and Social club
UpdateTwo of our operatives Rob and Keith recently completed roofing repair work on the East Harling Sports & Social Club. The team replaced broken tiles, performed repairs to the guttering, felt and battens.
Aspect Group Services Ltd kindly donated time and materials to the project.
The UEA 2023 Program Completion!
UpdateAnd that’s a wrap! Not only did we complete internal works at University of East Anglia we also reroofed the accommodation block at Suffolk Walk. Using existing interlocking concrete tiles with new Proctor Roofshield. Renewal of the zinc parapet cappings & secret gutters. We upgraded the rainwater goods and finished with redecoration to the timber windows on all three levels!

Re-roofing work on a lovely Cottage
UpdateA recent completed re-roof of this lovely cottage. The character and charm was retained by re-laying the original handmade and machine made pantiles. We used a reclaimed pantiles to make up for broken, soiled or heavily weathered tiles. New Sandtoft Tuscan clay ridge mortar bedded with decorative cut tile dentils. The chimney was re-rendered and re-flaunced using lime mortar. We also installed two new Velux roof windows and fully insulated the roof.

Re-roofing work at the UEA
UpdateRe-roofing work at the University of East Anglia, summer project is nearing the halfway point. We are re-using existing tiles and a small amount of reclaims to match the existing aesthetic.

A New Solar installation at our HQ in Wymondham
UpdateThe Solar installation is the first steps in Aspects plan to become Carbon Net Zero. Once installed, the system will generate in the region of 14000kWh per year.
