Case study

Wesley College, Cambridge

28th Jun 2017

In January 2016, working for Jerram Falkus Construction Ltd, we started a job on Wesley House, which is home to Wesley College in Cambridge.

The works were worth £120,000 and included the supply and fix of all leadworks, insulation at roof level and Westmorland Green Natural Slate tiles, which were laid in random diminishing courses.

One of our directly employed tiling teams, Dean and Tim completed the works over 6 months, completing it in July 2016.

Due to the nature and layout of Cambridge, we were working in a very tight environment and we were required to crane in the tiles due to the space and access arrangements.
