Project: Redesign and refurbishment of kitchen/ dining

Duration: 12 Days

Project Value: £14,000

The Works

The existing kitchen and utility room area were stripped out.

To provide an open plan feel and to create a space for a Kitchen Island, the existing wall between the kitchen and dining room was removed.

A full rewiring programme was undertaken with plumbing and electrical sockets put in place to accommodate the new kitchen design layout.  All the walls and ceiling areas were re-plastered.

Full redecoration of the area was undertaken and new kitchen and utility units and an island facility was installed.  New modern flooring was laid to compliment the units and modern hanging lights installed above the island.

Considerations during the contract

The property was in full occupation during our work. To ensure our clients were least disrupted Aspect provided temporary cooking and washing facilities and relocated appliances to maintain as much normality to the home and minimise inconvenience over the 12 days work duration

Feedback

“The Aspect management team gave expert advice and managed the project that required tradesman from a variety of skills – carpenter plasterer, plumber and painter.

All these trades worked as a team, hard and skilful, showed respect, helpfulness, and friendly to complete a truly superb result.

Many thanks to the Aspect team both for their hard work and their help in producing the kitchen dining room we had envisaged.”
