Kitchen Refurbishment Project

12th Mar 2018

Aspect Group Services have recently been working in the Cambridgeshire area, renewing a number of kitchens. We recently completed a home which needed the full works, offering assistance from the Developments teams and also the Roofing teams.

The residents at this 3 bedroom Cambridgeshire property have had to, unfortunately, manage with a small kitchen that was not suitable for the size of their home or family living. Part of the storage area within their kitchen consisted of an external store area, this room was not fully utilised due to the outbuilding being unpractical for its use. This was cold and damp in the winter and thus not fit for purpose.

Aspect Property Services were employed by the Client to help provide the residents with a larger, more practical kitchen that was more suitable for their family.

The works consisted of converting the external area into a fully functional kitchen area and the existing kitchen area would now become an extension to their new kitchen.

Within the external area, Aspect Group Services’ teams installed a new insulated flat roof and UPVC A-rated windows and doors. All the external walls within the store area required insulating and the floor levels needed to be raised to the same level as the existing floors within the house. The new kitchen area was then rewired, plastered and decorated ready to for the new Symphony kitchen to be installed.

The new completed kitchen and refurbishment works have provided the residents with a larger more practical family kitchen area.
